Treasuries!

I seem to be in a lot of treasuries these days (thank you) and they are all lovely and I would love the chance to share them with you more often. Today these two caught my eye and I especially wanted to share 'Ode to Needle Arts' by artsdomesticas as there is another of my fave artists/bloggers in there, Louise Taylor of the blog Crem-bru-la.Her work is on the bottom left 'Crafty - Original painting'.

Yay for treasuries!  Right the sun is shining at last so I want to get out in it for a cuppa T before I take some photos of some new work for the shop. By the way did I tell you that my new printer arrived? So I can now print from home using archival paper and pigment inks? I am so excited! Although the quality of my prints has always been great (I have been getting things printed at the fine art printers Niche in Stokes Croft bristol). I  now have more control over how quickly I  can ship prints to people and the prospect of doing art markets is now a possibility.

I've been under the weather and so I happened to go a bit treasury mad...What else can you do when under a duvet on the sofa feeling yukky?? Anyway I enjoyed every minute of this treasury making bonanza, I hope you enjoy them too :-)

Super sweet

So I've just got in from work, just finished a cup of tea , still have the raging headache I've had all day (argh)! BUT I feel very happy, the kids in the flat downstairs are going crazy with their keyboards and even though it's not helping my head it sounds happy and is helping my mood! I've just read this Etsy open tour studio article which has made me soooo want to be a full time artist some day *cross my fingers and my toes and wish wish wish* hehe..... ! And  I have just been included in this great treasury by SLCSLC titled 'HOT list'..... I love this treasury! You can view it here.

A lazy day making treasurys!

Good evening all! The new 'Circle' tool on Etsy is so fabulous! I am discovering lots of new artists and crafts people, I have been home alone today with free time and I have been stuck to my laptop browsing Etsy for beautiful things for most of the afternoon...Oops! This treasury is full to the brim with beautiful art work! One of the reasons I love to make treasury's is that it is a great way to discover new artists that were previously unknown to me. Obviously I adore all of the artworks above but this piece in particular stands out for me today.

It's friday!

Good evening all! It's FRIDAY!! Not only that but it's also snowing! I'm very excited, I love the snow! Also I've also been making advent wreaths and paper tissue snowflakes at the school tonight in preparation for the advent Sunday celebration and the lead up to Christmas...So I'm feeling very festive!

When I got home tonight I had an email to let me know that my 'Donkey ride' print had been included in a treasury by Paradise Pie titled 'Donkey days', I really love this treasury and if you would like you can view it here.

I dream of horses

I have horses on the mind at the moment, as that is the case it was fitting that I use a horse theme for a new Treasury, you can view it at Etsy by clicking here.

I have so many favorites in this treasury, I would happily have all of these things in my life! I have a feeling there may be a 'I dream of horses part 2' as well, there are just far too many beautiful equestrian themed creations out there!

I adore this painting by Pixie Campbell, you can visit her Etsy shop 'animama' here. I love so much at the Animama shop, it really is worth taking a peek. for example this white Coyote art print is just lovely!

Some more Etsy treasury love

I have been spoilt rotten lately, I have been included in three fabulous treasury's, the third of which I want to tell you about now. This treasury is titled birds of a feather and was created by the brilliant Tera of olive hue designs. Tera has a great blog titled olive hue designs and three Etsy shops. Olive hue designs which stocks art,digital prints and designs, and Olive hue 2 which stocks jewelery, a more recent venture is an Etsy shop called Alice's secrets where she sells blog/web banners and other art work. One of my favourite creations of Tera's is this Bunny hugs banner and avatar that is for sale in her Secret Alice shop..So go and view her blog and these great shops!

I must say that I am in love with the majority of the items in this treasury. Which probably comes as no surprise to those of you who read this blog regularly! I particularly like the clay birds by redhotpottery, very nice!

Etsy treasury love!

I am so in love with Etsy treasury's! Its so exciting to see the collections that people have put together..Not to mention a great way to find new shops to adore! As I've said on here before there is just so much talent out there, it's unbelievable really, all those people working there 9-5's then getting home and crafting until the late hours. I am very happy to find out that I have been included in another treasury! This treasury was created by Penelope Reichley of il gatto selvatico, whose shop I happen to be amazed by, check out this embroidered necklace, how cool is this? She has also created one in the shape of the United Kingdom which I have to mention, it would be rude not to really! Penelope also creates earrings, bags and scarfs..all worth a view.
