I really like tea & I really like sheds, I also really like art and I especially like a combination of the lot, so is it any wonder that this new company caught my eye? I stumbled across them on the Print & Pattern website and I thought I would share on here too.

Flipflops, gardening, art..

Hi all, hows your week been? Are you enjoying this warmer weather and the lighter nights?  Tonight me and my man have eaten dinner outside (with a little wood fire), I also have just been wearing my flip flops this evening which has made me feel happy (again the log fire obviously helps but y'know...Summer is on its way)! I am still very busy with house stuff, we still need to paint the walls & ceilings and buy some bits but it's getting there. I have a few photos to show you of recent goings on, we have been doing lots of gardening getting everything tidy and planting and re planting things..Well when I say "we"... I actually just planted some bulbs made cups of tea and took photographs! Thankfully Ben's mum has been staying with us and helping which is really good as I'm sure i'd of dug up lots of lovely plants that are in their winter state thinking they were weeds..I really need to learn!

So all is well but I can't wait to get on with some art making, I have lots of ideas twirling round my head that need to come to life. Current obsessions are plants, horse silhouettes and pink and gray...I hope to start focusing on art towards the end of the week.

New listings and new pet!

Hey lovelies! How are you all tonight? I am sat in my living room listening to 6 music (my favorite radio station ever, you should try it)! Waiting for a bottle of red wine to heat up (yum) on the radiator and I have things I wanted to tell/show you!

Firstly I have added a new print to my Etsy shop, this green shell print. It's nice. Go check it out!

Secondly we picked up our new cat from the RSPCA rescue center today! We chose him earlier this week and got to bring him home today! We've named him Arthur and he's lovely, although terribly playful (naughty)!!! He's had great fun exploring the house today disappearing under beds and under the stairs..This photograph was taken during his relaxing hour earlier which has now been replaced with crazy cat time! It's nice having an animal around though and I am so looking forward to getting to know him more. :-)

An explanation

Hey all!  Right, I feel I  owe you all an explanation as to where my daily drawings have gone, the thing is that the past few weeks life has been hectic (and it looks to carry on this way), and try as I might I just can't keep up the daily drawings, at least not  at a standard that I feel happy with. I've posted a few daily drawings that I felt unhappy with and well I just don't want do that. So for the time being I won't be posting the daily drawings, I shall return to just posting art work as and when.. I feel better now for explaining myself to you all!

Something I have been doing recently is painting, I have started my first painting in a few years and am really enjoying the process of working with paint on canvas. I'm also enjoying being able to work on it each day, building the image up slowly. It's so much fun!
