Quiet as a mouse...

So I have been of late, please excuse my absence. Life is hectic and I'm yet to figure out how blogging fits into the way things are at the moment... All will return to some sort of normal soon I am sure!  For now I want to share my favorite online things that I have come across lately..

Leililaloo on Etsy

'Funky Star' pillowcase

Babyjives on Etsy
Soft sailing boat nursery mobile

Owlcreekceramics on Etsy
Watery platter plate

I'd like to try recreating the abstract design seen on the owlcreekceramics plate. I really love it, it makes a change from the usual ceramic decoration.

I'll be back with more news, and hopefully some new artwork soon..Until then toodle pip folks! **

New Etsy shop - Apple & Pie

Apple & Pie belongs to artist Dana Komjaty..

I wanted to mention Dana whose work I adore and am constantly amazed, impressed, inspired by. She just keeps on making the most beautiful artwork and objects and she has recently opened another Etsy shop. She has three now:
leililaloo: filled with things she makes with her sewing machine
danakomjaty: Prints and paintings
AppleAndPie: Prints which are based on animals and their symbolic values and characteristics. You really have to check out all these shops especially the new one AppleAndPie.

Here is a link to her blog and some of my new favorite pieces from the Apple and Pie shop.

SPRING IS HERE!

Spring is officially here..Hurrah! :-)

I have been as quiet as a mouse of late I know, I am missing my art time but life is a bit busy at the moment. Roll on the easter holidays and time to create and explore all of your lovely blogs! Today I followed a link from Leililaloo's blog to this beautiful treasury and I came across this wonderful shop. I love Belinda Kemps ( Gretchenmist) paintings, just looking at them inspires me to create and go on adventures...What do you think?

I hope its sunny where you are, speak soon! **
