Sneak peak of something new!

I just couldn't wait to show you these! They are not in my shop *yet* but will be very soon! My illustrations as pendents with a silver back & glass front on a long silver chain.. I like them very much!

So far i've made five with these designs:
Budgies in love
Peach Peacock
Flowers from my vintage teacup design
Yellow poppies & Blue poppies

Let me know what you think!

I was taking these photos outside and Arthur was very interested in the necklace chains! I couldn't resist taking some snaps of him too. He's just too cute!
 Cheerio for now :-)

Images from here

The wood shed is low on stock, summer is on its way!
Flowers that we planted are growing and the lemon balm is growing again :-)

I've abandoned the summer house lately in favor of working in the dining room. It's a pain when I have to clear things away but over all I prefer working in here, near the kettle for tea and it's a nice sunny room.
I bought this crochet blanket for Arthur cat but he doesn't like to use it, so instead it's covering a seat in the kitchen.
I like the colours here, grey, white, pink and green..The downstairs floor is still not done, hopefully in the next few months we will have the carpets up downstairs and grey floor boards throughout the house.

How have your days been? I had coffee with a very good old friend, it was wonderful and so nice to catch up. I also spent hours getting lost in the Worcestershire area trying to find the Little Buckland Gallery. My fault entirely, my sense of direction is awful and I had notes but no map or satnav... I'm so daft..!

I took two prints to the gallery for an upcoming exhibition called 'The colour of spring' which starts this week on Wednesday 28th March. I took my 'Yellow Birdie' print and a magpie image which is a variation on my 'Two for Joy' Print. I will be listing this version in my Etsy shop very soon though as I like it so much! :-)

What do you think? Bright and cheery?! If your in the Cheltenham and Worcestershire area pop over to the Little Buckland Gallery to check out the exhibition. Heres the website for the gallery:

Vintage tea cups, I still love them!

Two old drawings, re done and updated. I have a folder on my computer titled 'To develop' it's full of images that I'm not quite happy with. These two were in there, I had some fun re developing them and now I am happy to say that I really like them.

Good stuff!

I hope you have all had a good day? I took my new part loan horse out for our first solo hack today. We even squeezed in a short gallop which was so much fun! If you've never ridden then you should try it. Horse riding is one of my favorite things to do, alongside drawing and making. These things make me happy. :-)
Cheerio folks, Speak soon!

Goldfish, big in the 80s?

Goldfish.. I had a lot of goldfish growing up. A LOT. I think we cared for them well, had bowls then tanks with filters and always cleaned them out and fed them etc. They just never seemed to last too long. I was thinking recently were goldfish just something that were big in the 80s/90s? Back when I was a child it seemed everyone had one but now I don't know anyone with fish.

We had 'Gripper' - the first goldfish won at a fair by my uncle (I know, I know so not cool, but back then it was pretty normal thing to do)
'Sharkie & George' - who else had fish called Sharkie and George?!
And the last name I came remember was 'Bubbles', however I think there were quite a few more..!

I got thinking about all this as I wanted to draw some fish. To begin with I thought of colorful tropical fish, but then I thought about the common goldfish.

So here's to the common goldfish (and to Gripper, Sharkie, George & Bubbles) :-)

The giveaway is on!
